Is it possible for humans to discern between good and bad spirits? Yes, of course, we can. We were born with that instinct.

Spirit

In a previous article, we explored the existence of both good and evil spirits. Now, we will delve into how to know if a spirit is good or bad. If you have not yet read the previous article on the presence of good and bad spirits, you can read it here  The Presence of Good and Evil Spirits: A Balanced Perspective, as it might help you understand this one better.

Knowing the difference between an evil and a good spirit is not difficult. When an evil spirit comes around, your body will automatically react because our spirit instinctively tries to repel the energy that the evil spirit brings. This is why most people describe this experience as a heavy feeling over their body.

Depending on how strong the evil spirit is, it can sometimes cause our body to become heavy, rendering us unable to talk or move, although our mind remains conscious. In contrast, when a good spirit comes around, you won't feel this type of oppressive energy because our spirit automatically accepts the presence of the good spirit.

Another distinguishing factor is that when sighting an evil spirit, it will always have its back facing you and never show you its face. On the other hand, a good spirit will appear facing you, but its face will be blurry, though you will still be able to recognize the spirit.

Additionally, most people become very ill after an encounter with an evil spirit, while an encounter with a good spirit leaves you unharmed. Both good and bad spirits can frighten people, as we are not accustomed to seeing beings from the afterlife or spiritual realm.

It's essential to be aware of these differences so that you can know exactly how to react or deal with a situation. Good spirits typically come around to deliver a message or offer protection, whereas bad spirits usually have harmful intentions. This is another critical point to be aware of: a good spirit will never ask you to make sacrifices involving a person's life, but an evil spirit might try to trick you into harming others.

Understanding these distinctions can help you navigate and respond to spiritual encounters appropriately, ensuring you stay safe and protected.
